The Researchers of Existence

It is a series of works, created in 2012, based on Mayan cosmogony and more particularly on the POPOL VUH, the sacred book of Mayan spirituality.
The works are based on the different elements that tell the story of the mythical characters such as the twins, the man with the blowpipe, Our 7 Honours, Zipakna, the creation of the world, the feathered serpent, the thunder and lightning, etc.
All the paintings in this series were done in oil paint in a format of 1m x 1m. The background of the paintings integrates the sacred geometry and the golden number. This series was the subject of a joint exhibition with the Martinican singer and poet Joby Bernabé.
